La informaci\u00f3n sobre el premio fue difundida por las principales agencias nacionales del pa\u00eds, <strong>EFE<\/strong> y <strong>Europa Press<\/strong>, apareciendo en diarios tan prestigiosos como <em><strong>La Vanguardia<\/strong><\/em> o <em><strong>El Diario Vasco<\/strong><\/em> y siendo retransmitida por <strong>RNE, Onda Cero y RTPA, entre otras emisoras. <\/strong>\u00a0El<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>jurado\u00a0compuesto por\u00a0<strong>do\u00f1a<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Teresa Caso<\/strong>,<strong> do\u00f1a Marisa Mor\u00e1n Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>,<strong> don<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Ignacio Garc\u00eda-Arango Cienfuegos-Jovellanos<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0don Rodrigo Cepeda Fern\u00e1ndez-Miranda\u00a0<\/strong>y<strong>\u00a0don Juan Antonio V\u00e1zquez Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, presidido por<strong>\u00a0don Jos\u00e9 Luis Garc\u00eda Delgado<\/strong>\u00a0y con<strong>\u00a0don Lluis Xabel \u00c1lvarez Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>\u00a0como secretario, eligi\u00f3 como ganador el ensayo <strong><em>Historia del futuro<\/em><\/strong>, escrito por el investigador asturiano y doctor en Qu\u00edmica <strong>Amador Men\u00e9ndez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Un premio a la excelencia sin lugar a dudas, ya que Men\u00e9ndez, que en la actualidad investiga en el<strong> Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Materiales de Asturias<\/strong>, ha trabajado en el <strong>Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas<\/strong>, el <strong>Laboratorio Europeo de Radiaci\u00f3n de Sincrotr\u00f3n<\/strong> y el prestigioso <strong>Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Massachusetts (MIT)<\/strong>.
